Mr. Galovan joined PCCP in 2008. Mr. Galovan oversees PCCP’s separate accounts, which comprise approximately half of PCCP’s business. Mr. Galovan leads business development efforts for the firm and serves as a senior member of the Investments team, focusing on new debt and equity investments across the United States. Mr. Galovan also has a senior leadership role in the oversight and growth of PCCP’s industrial and residential build-to-rent platforms. Prior to joining PCCP, Mr. Galovan spent five years in Northern California as a Vice President at Woodside Group, Inc., a national developer of residential real estate. Mr. Galovan received a B.A. from Brigham Young University and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Lindsay is a Co-Founder of PCCP and a member of the Firm’s Management Committee, focused on PCCP’s equity platform. Mr. Lindsay is also a member of the Executive Committee, which primarily oversees Firm strategy and policy, resource allocation, risk and compliance. Prior to forming PCCP, Mr. Lindsay was the co-head of the real estate group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP, where he led the firm’s practice in real estate workouts, loan securitizations, equity joint ventures, and real estate finance. From 1986 to 1987, Mr. Lindsay served as a law clerk to Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist on the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Lindsay received his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College. Mr. Lindsay received his J.D. from the School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles, California. He is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association.
Lia Barsanti joined PCCP in March 2020. Ms. Barsanti is responsible for acquisitions and debt originations along the East Coast with a focus on the Mid-Atlantic. Prior to joining PCCP, Ms. Barsanti worked in the Real Estate, Lodging & Leisure Investment Banking group at UBS, specializing in M&A advisory and capital markets transactions on behalf of public REITs and private real estate clients. Ms. Barsanti received a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from Georgetown University.
Peter Decker joined PCCP in June 2019. Mr. Decker is responsible for asset management of PCCP’s debt portfolio, with a focus on assets in the Eastern United States. Mr. Decker also serves as the fund manager for one of PCCP’s debt vehicles. Prior to joining PCCP, Mr. Decker was Senior Vice President at Quadrant Real Estate Advisors where he was head of asset management overseeing a portfolio of primarily life company loans. Mr. Decker holds a B.S. in Management/Real Estate and an M.B.A. from Georgia State University. Mr. Decker is a CFA charterholder, CFA Institute.
Ryan Dodge joined PCCP in September 2013. Mr. Dodge serves as the Co-Head of the New York Investments team and is a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Dodge is responsible for equity and debt investments along the East Coast and helps lead PCCP’s industrial business. Prior to joining PCCP, Mr. Dodge worked in the Global Real Estate Investment Banking Group at Barclays, specializing in M&A advisory and capital markets assignments on behalf of public REITs and private real estate clients. Mr. Dodge holds a B.S. in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University, where he is a member of the Steering Committee on the Steers Center for Global Real Estate’s advisory board. Mr. Dodge is an active member of NAIOP and sits on the National Industrial Perspectives Forum.
Erik Flynn joined PCCP in 2004. Mr. Flynn serves as a member of the Investments team and acts as the head of the San Francisco Investments office, spearheading the Firm’s investment sourcing effort in the Pacific Northwest. Additionally, Mr. Flynn is a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining PCCP, Mr. Flynn worked in the Asset Management Group of Unico Properties, an investment real estate and operating company headquartered in Seattle, where he focused on the investment performance of their west coast office portfolio. Mr. Flynn received a B.S. in Finance and Information Systems from Boston College.
Brian Haber joined PCCP in March 2019. Mr. Haber serves as Co-Head of the East Coast Investments team and is based in New York. Mr. Haber is responsible for equity and debt investments along the East Coast and has served as fund manager for multiple PCCP equity and debt investment platforms. Prior to joining PCCP, Mr. Haber was a Vice President at True North Management Group where he was responsible for the origination and asset management of real estate investments across the U.S. Prior to joining True North Management Group, Mr. Haber worked in investment banking and finance roles at RBC Capital Markets and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Mr. Haber received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the Jones School of Business at the State University of New York at Geneseo. Mr. Haber is a member of the SUNY Geneseo Business Advisory Council, the Central Park Conservancy and Friends of Hudson River Park.
Brian Heafey joined PCCP in 2000. Mr. Heafey serves as the Co-Fund Manager for the Firm’s commingled value add debt series of vehicles, and oversees PCCP’s debt portfolio as Co-Head of Debt Investment Management. Additionally, Mr. Heafey serves as Fund Manager for several debt separately managed accounts. Previously, Mr. Heafey was Head of Investment and Portfolio Management for both PCCP’s equity and debt portfolios. Prior to joining PCCP, Mr. Heafey was a Consulting Manager for E&Y Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group throughout Asia and the United States. Mr. Heafey received his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University. He is a former Trustee for St. Ignatius College Preparatory, former board member of Rose Court, a low-income housing development, and is active in Canine Companions for Independence.
Michael Hoyt joined PCCP in 2008. Mr. Hoyt serves as the Co-Fund Manager for the Firm’s commingled opportunistic equity series of vehicles, and oversees PCCP’s equity portfolio as Co-Head of Equity Investment Management. Additionally, Mr. Hoyt serves as Fund Manager for select equity separately managed accounts. Previously, Mr. Hoyt was the Head of PCCP’s Portfolio Management Team, overseeing portfolio performance of all PCCP vehicles. Prior to his role as Head of Portfolio Management, Mr. Hoyt focused on debt and equity investments, having originated equity, mezzanine, and senior debt transactions on office, industrial, multifamily, retail and condominiums throughout the Western United States. Mr. Hoyt is also a member of PCCP’s ESG Committee, which is responsible for monitoring ESG initiatives within the organization. Mr. Hoyt received his B.S. in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
Donald Kuemmeler is a Co-Founder of PCCP and a member of the Firm’s Management Committee, focused on PCCP’s debt platform. Additionally, Mr. Kuemmeler is a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee. Mr. Kuemmeler is also a member of the Executive Committee, which primarily oversees Firm strategy and policy, resource allocation, risk and compliance. Prior to forming PCCP in 1998, Mr. Kuemmeler held senior management positions at Wells Fargo Bank in the Real Estate Merchant Banking and Workout Groups. Mr. Kuemmeler earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and his master’s degree in Finance and Real Estate from the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. Mr. Kuemmeler is a member of the Fisher Center for Real Estate, the Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers. Mr. Kuemmeler also is a frequent speaker and panelist at professional real estate conferences and investment venues across the country.
Jed Lassere joined PCCP in 2002. Mr. Lassere serves as Head of Investments and is a member of PCCP’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining PCCP, Mr. Lassere was a Senior Consultant in the Real Estate Advisory Practice of Ernst & Young. At Ernst & Young, Mr. Lassere specialized in strategy and capital markets engagements while working for a wide variety of clients from public REITs to Fortune 500 corporations. Mr. Lassere received a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Alexandra Schultz joined PCCP in April 2019. Ms. Schultz serves as the Co-Fund Manager for the firm’s commingled value add debt series of vehicles, and oversees PCCP’s debt portfolio as Co-Head of Debt Investment Management. Additionally, Ms. Schultz serves as Fund Manager for select debt separately managed accounts. Ms. Schultz is also responsible for debt and equity originations in Northern California, Utah, and the Midwest. Prior to joining PCCP, Ms. Schultz worked in Wells Fargo’s Commercial Real Estate Group in Chicago and San Francisco. In her role at Wells Fargo, Ms. Schultz underwrote, originated and managed commercial real estate loans for a number of real estate investors and developers located across the country. Since beginning her career, Ms. Schultz has been involved in debt and equity investments in the apartment, industrial, office, retail, and single-family for-rent sectors. Ms. Schultz earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is an active member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association.
Sarina Strickland joined PCCP in March 2021 and is responsible for new originations for PCCP’s debt and equity platforms in Southern California, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas. Prior to joining PCCP, Ms. Strickland worked as an Associate for the Real Estate Banking group at JP Morgan in Los Angeles focusing on originating acquisition, construction, structured revolving facilities, and subscription facilities for Los Angeles and Phoenix-based borrowers. Ms. Strickland holds a B.S. in Business – Real Estate Finance from the University of Southern California.
Bryan Thornton joined PCCP in 1999. Mr. Thornton is a member of the Firm’s Management Committee, focused on PCCP’s equity platform. Additionally, Mr. Thornton serves as the Co-Fund Manager for the Firm’s commingled opportunistic equity series of vehicles, and oversees PCCP’s equity portfolio as Co-Head of Equity Investment Management. Mr. Thornton is also a member of the Executive Committee, which primarily oversees Firm strategy and policy, resource allocation, risk and compliance. Mr. Thornton earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and NAREIM. In connection with Urban Land Institute, Mr. Thornton is involved with ULI’s UrbanPlan program, which works with high school seniors on the challenges of communities and developing a built environment.
